The FLY

This is an original story inspired by a microorganism called the FLY.

In the woods of the Far South called Pillary, a strange creature called the FLY came buzzing. His head was always held up high as if he was the mightiest. He had a dream that he would one day rock the land of Pillary, a vast garden of different organisms.
As days passed, a few had noticed already a character flaw of the fly. Thus, he had accumulated quite a number of foes in authority. In addition, the other organisms found out he had quite a collection of adversaries from other gardens. He had that air of arrogance and psychological defense mechanism that simply emanated from having an identity crisis. It was a survival for the other organisms. From time to time, there were secret schemes in the garden and life turned out to be topsy turvy.
One day while the FLY was busy buzzing around the garden, he saw a pile of fresh manure. It was undeniably an irresistible delicacy so he ate and ate and LO!...ate more. When he had enough, he attempted to fly but he couldn't. He was in an unpleasant situation. On the north side of the garden, he spotted a carabao relaxing after a day's work. He wanted to reach the back of the carabao so he leaped confidently with his head still up high into the air. Alas! He could see the world. "I am different." I can outshine everyone in the garden. Ha ha ha! I must think of ways on how I can fool them." I have to be the BOSS in the garden. Look at me; I am taller than this stupid carabao!" Soon after, a farmer came and hit the loggerheaded little fly with all his might.
He who worships only himself gets a slick, polished look---
like monuments. Too bad he is just a mere put on,
nothing but a second rate trying hard copy cat!
